Unilever Foodsolutions is a branch from Unilever Brazil that takes care of their B2B Food commerce. They wanted a new intranet so their employees could get updates from new events or files available.
Instead of doing a normal (a.k.a. boring) interface that no one likes to use, we came up with the idea to turn the intranet into a social network for the users. They could get notifications on new events and also join them and exchange photos and messages. Managers could upload files to the platform and be sure that everyone would get an alert about it.
As most employees work directly with restaurants, we implemented an area of recipes, where users could exchange new ways to use the brand’s products. Users would also get a full schedule with all their appointments during the month.
The site was a success, increasing the number of accesses and the scope of the company’s internal campaigns.
